On this Sunday morning we were chasing the fog - looking for some new subjects for Laura to photograph. The fog was retreating quickly as we drove through San Francisco, which led us to Pacifica where we wandered to the end of the road - a parking lot next to a dump. It was a beautiful and dramatic scene with steep cliffs and a wild ocean. The entrance of the park area was marked with a sign "Beware of Coyotes!". As we walked down the trail with our girls in the strollers, we witnessed a pair of dog walkers confronting a young coyote, who was howling an jumping on its hind legs. We pushed on, hoping we wouldn't face a run-in, but collected some rocks just in case. We wandered down to the coastline and found some beautiful scenery to photography. After returning, we researched the area and found the place as interesting as it is beautiful - more about Mussel Rock Park. We hope to return soon!
